The Rashid Hamam, located approximately twenty minutes outside of Bodrum, is the elite Hamam in the area. It stands alone as a self operating Hamam and is not associated with any hotel or annexation of other enterprises. The experience is exceptional and people visiting Turkey should never go away with out knowing what it is all about and how good it feels and how healthy it is for the body and soul. The real challenge is to find an authentic and traditional Hamam from among the many possibilities. By choosing to visit the Rashid, one has made that discovery.
The domed roof is 11 meters high, and has an array of thick glass skylights which direct beams of light into the Hamam.
Upon entering, you’ll encounter a spacious lobby with a fireplace, and a shop selling traditional Turkish goods. Guests are led to 'welcome rooms', where the staff will explain the Turkish bath process, and give you a summary of the different services available (e.g. massages). There are 'two Hamams' upstairs, plus a 'relaxation zone, sauna, shock pool (cold water), steam room and a jaccuzzi'. There’s also a 'mud bath, and a power shower' to wash it all off! So you "will" leave feeling renewed, refreshed and invigorated.
The complex also provides additional 'spa and beauty treatments such as: ladies hair dressers, barbers, manicures and pedicures'.
