OVERVIEW:

Begin the afternoon half-day tour with a wonderful drive along the coastal road which affords scenic views of the Saronic Gulf and  the Aegean Islands .  The vehicle passes through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Vouligmeni, Glyfada, and Varkiza) as it approaches Cape Sounion.  Perched on a 197 foot precipice, the temple appears to rise directly out of the sea. You'll be walking the path of the ancients.
