OVERVIEW: The Athens Full Day Walking Tour is a smart choice if one wants to get
the 'lay of the land' while in Athens. You'll be observing and
learning about both local modern life and ancient life. You'll visit the Acropolis, (Parthenon, Temple of Athena, Temple of Nike, Carytids, and Propylaea). Also, the new Acropolis Museum, Monasteraki, the Plaka, lunchtime, the Ancient Agora, Hadrian's Arch and Temple of Olympian Zeus.

HIGHLIGHTS: Your guide picks you up at your hotel to visit the "Crown Jewel of Athens", the Acropolis, with the famed Parthenon, Temple of Athena, Temple of Nike, and Propylaea. Then we visit the new Acropolis Museum, where many of the treasures found at the Acropolis are exhibited. Next, we'll go to Monasteraki and Plaka. Here you can shop, have a Mediterranean lunch and/or take advantage of
the photo opportunities of temple ruins, byzantine churches, and the cobble stoned alleyways.Visit the Ancient Agora
where Socrates taught, Apostle Paul spoke, and democracy was created. Also, here we see the small museum in the rebuilt Stoa
of Attalos. We end off with a short walk to the massive Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's arch (free with Acropolis ticket).
