Your private tour will continue to Epidavros to visit: the worldwide legendary acoustically perfect Theatre of Epidavros. Then visit the healing sanctuary of Asclepius, the God of health.  Next we proceed to a favored charming picturesque town of Nafplion, which was once the capital of Greece.  Your afternoon is free to enjoy the city founded (mythologically speaking) by the son of God Poseidon and is now considered one of the most romantic in Greece. Visit the Medieval town, or the Palamidi Castle, shop, take in the most photographed spot of the small Venetian fortress, the Bourtzi. Have fun, it's your choice.  Dinner at a traditional restaurant for your evening pleasure. Stay overnight in Nafplion

DAY 2 Mycenae:

Another great day of exploring ancient history. You will continue on to Mycenae, legendary home of Atreas, a King of Mycenae and father to Agamemnon.  Here you’ll visit the Tomb of King Agamemnon, plus the archaeological site with its famous Palace and massive Cyclopean Wall and Lion's Gate. Following an optional stop for souvenirs you'll depart for Olympia, birth place of the Olympic Games.  You'll be seeing the Greek countryside of Central Peloponnese, Arcadia, as well as the towns of Tripoli and Megalopolis.  Overnight stay in Olympia.

DAY 3  Olympia:

After breakfast, you’ll be taken to the archaeological site of Olympia. Here your licensed guide will share the history of this most important location, Olympia. You’ll visit:  the Temple of Zeus and Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Olympic stadium and the treasures of the Olympia Archaeological Museum. Driving in comfort, we start for Delphi going through Patras, the capital of the Peloponnese,. In the afternoon, below Delphi, you’ll visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova which is popular for its cheeses, wines, carpets and souvenirs.  Traditional restaurant for dinner.  Overnight stay in Delphi

Day 4 Delphi:

How exciting to be in the spot known since ancient times as the ‘navel of the earth’. This ‘center’ was home to the Oracle of Delphi, Pythia, who would give out her prediction of the future to the world leaders of the time.  Note the many treasuries from different countries and regions as much money was given in return for these predictions. Entering the Delphi Sanctuary, you will be enlightened by your guide who will show you, the Temple of Apollo, the Delphi stadium and theatre, the Ampholos (navel) and much more.  In the Delphi Museum be sure to see the famous bronze Charioteer and statue of Antinoos, who was the favorite of Emperor Hadrian. Leave in the afternoon and return to Athens at around 6pm. Note:  Request if you would like us to arrange a hotel back in Athens.
